Horský kros Gerlach

The Gerlach Mountain Cross is a traditional mountain uphill run that starts from the village of Gerlachov, passes through the Velická Valley, and ends at the Sliezsky Dom mountain hotel. The course is 8,400 meters long with an elevation gain of 879 meters, and runners traverse a rocky trail and sometimes an asphalt road. The event is suitable for runners who enjoy challenging mountain terrain and beautiful views of the High Tatras. The race also includes children's runs and the option to purchase an entry with original Gerlach Mountain Cross socks.

Maximálna kapacita 200 pretekárov. Časový limit na Velickom moste (5,7 km) je 1:30 hod. Počas pretekov je zabezpečené občerstvenie na trati a v cieli, vývoz vecí do cieľa, a jedlo po pretekoch. Detské preteky (100-500 m) sa nevyhodnocujú, každé dieťa dostane medailu a sladkosť. Možnosť zakúpiť si štartovné s ponožkami HKG za 7 €. Pretek sa koná v horskom teréne, registrácia je možná na obecnom úrade, súčasťou sú aj detské preteky
