Race description
The Tatras to Danube relay race is the largest relay race in Slovakia, covering a distance of 345 km. Teams consisting of 6 or 9 to 12 members start in Jasná in the Low Tatras and run nonstop through day and night to finish on the banks of the Danube in Bratislava. The course is mostly asphalt with a total elevation gain of approximately 3990 meters and a descent of 4870 meters. Runners complete 36 segments of varying lengths and difficulty, with each member of a 12-person team running three segments. The race is a challenge for team spirit and endurance in the beautiful environment of Slovakia.
