Memoriál Jozefa Gabčíka

The Jozef Gabčík Memorial is an annual running event held in honor of the paratrooper and hero Jozef Gabčík, a prominent figure in the anti-fascist resistance. This 11 km cross run on mixed terrain starts from Žilina - Poluvsie, the birthplace of Jozef Gabčík, and ends at the sports complex of the 5th Special Forces Regiment in Žilina. The event brings together civilian and military runners and promotes physical performance and community spirit. The registration fee includes a race kit, refreshments, a commemorative medal, and timing with a chip.

Kapacita podujatia je 500 pretekárov. Registrácia je platná až po pripísaní platby do 1. apríla 2026, inak bude zrušená. Štartovné zahŕňa administratívu, pretekársky balíček, občerstvenie, ceny pre víťazov, pamätnú medailu a meranie času s čipom HRDOSPORT vrátane online výsledkov. Detské kategórie majú bezplatnú účasť, registrácia prebieha online a na mieste pred štartom. Preteky sa konajú v Žiline - Poluvsie, registrácia je možná online aj na mieste, štartovné zahŕňa štartové číslo s čipom, občerstvenie, ceny, medaila a meranie času.
