Extrém Maratón Oščadnica

The Extreme Oščadnica Marathon is a mountain marathon set amidst the picturesque nature of Kysuce, mainly along mountain ridges offering beautiful views of Veľká Rača. The 42-kilometer course with an elevation gain of nearly 1700 meters tests endurance, strength, and love for the mountains. The event is not a race but an experiential run that emphasizes the joy of movement, friendship, and willpower. Organizers provide complete services including refreshments, a T-shirt, and a communal gathering after the run.

The presentation of runners is on 17.10.2026 from 06:30 to 08:30 at the Cultural House in Oščadnica. The marathon has a time limit of 7 hours, with a 5-hour limit to reach Veľká Rača, after which the organizer does not guarantee refreshments. Registration is only possible online, or on-site if the start list is not full. Registration closes once the limit of 200 participants is reached. The registration fee includes a T-shirt, storage, showers, on-trail and finish line refreshments, a medal, and an after-party.
