Race description
The Čičmany Run is a trail race set in the picturesque environment of the Slovak folk village Čičmany, offering a course through the Strážovské Hills with stunning nature, untouched forests, and expansive meadows. The race is part of the Run Through the Forest series and is included in the UTMB Index Races, ensuring international recognition and rating. Participants can compete on various routes, including a long 20 km race with an elevation gain of 718 meters, a medium 11 km Lesnícka route with a 380-meter elevation gain, and a short 5 km route. The event also features a special Conti Speed Section where top runners can win valuable prizes.
